It is one storied house meant for one person. It is in the shape of a cuboid. The
architect put concrete walls between the rooms such that you have to exit one room to access
the next one. It has one main entrance on the ground floor and integrated doors with several
windows all-round the house that provides natural light. It is surrounded by palm trees and a
greenhouse which has outside plants. The blueprint shows the living room, kitchen, dining
area, and one-bedroom downstairs. Upstairs is a terrace house and a study with a rooftop. At
the main entrance sits the living room, which is opposite to the washroom and guest
bedroom. At the far end downstairs is the dining room, which is conveniently next to the
kitchen. Upstairs, there is a study and a terrace house for one occupant. Judging from the
plan, the owner seems to be a lover of nature and plants who value serenity.
Light and Space
There are enough windows in each room which provide natural light all over the
house. The architect offered ample space to fit the furniture in the living room, dining, terrace
house, and study. All the rooms add up to 47.36 square meter floor area well spread out
downstairs and on the first floor with a relaxing area at the rooftop. The little space was
therefore used to its maximum. The building is structured with steel sheets that reduce the
thickness of the external walls to 50mm and the interior walls to 16mm, forming the overall
gentle swaying shape of the house. We can conclude, therefore, that the architect did his job
to his level best.
