This contract is made this day of 2020
BETWEEN
Alfredton and Lucas Newsletter hereinafter referred to as “Contractor” which expression
shall where the context so admits include its/his/her personal representatives and assigns) on the
first part; AND
………………………………………..hereinafter referred to as “Delivery Personnel” which
expression shall where the context so admits include his/her personal representatives and
assigns) of the other part.
WHEREAS:
i. Contractor is of the opinion that the Delivery Personnel has the necessary qualifications,
experience and abilities to provide the delivery services as described herein.
ii. Contractor and Delivery Personnel are in agreement that this agreement is enforceable
under any circumstance and by executing the same they have decided to abide by the
terms and conditions herein.
IN CONSIDERATION OF the matters described above and of the mutual benefits and
obligations set forth in this Agreement, the receipt and sufficiency of which consideration is
hereby acknowledged, the Delivery Personnel and the Contractor agrees as follows:
1. SERVICES PROVIDED
1. The Contractor hereby agrees to engage the Delivery Personnel to provide the Contractor with
delivery services.
2. COMPENSATION
2.1 Delivery Personnel hereby agrees to be compensated 12 cents per newsletter delivered ($120
per 1000 newsletter delivered).
2.2 Both parties are in agreement that payment options are via a casual wage for work completed
and by direct bank transfer which is in compliance with all tax laws. In addition to that
Contractor can also be invoiced by a business (ABN) for work completed.
3. TERMS
3.1 Contractor avers that the working environment is safe and free from discrimination.

3.2 There is ongoing work for instance the Alfredton and Lucas newsletter.
3.3 Delivery Personnel understands that there in the event both parties herein agree there can be
commissions on advertising sales.
4. OBLIGATIONS OF DELIVERY PERSONNEL
4.1 Delivery Personnel is required to be reliable and accountable for delivery of one newsletter
per household or business.
4.2 Delivery Personnel is required to deliver all newsletters to his or her area of responsibility
within 4 days of receiving the newsletter. Delivery Personnel understands that there are no night
time deliveries.
4.3 Delivery Personnel is required to comply with the Alfredton and Lucas newsletter Covid 19
delivery plan. In respect to the same masks, hand sanitizer and reflective vests will be provided.
4.4 Delivery Personnel should not deliver a newsletter to letter boxes marked “No Junk mail” or
similar.
4.5 Delivery Personnel is required to deliver the newsletter to businesses either in person or via
their mail box.
4.6 At all material times the Delivery Personnel is required to present the Alfredton and Lucas
newsletter in a positive and professional manner.
4.7 Subject to instructions the Contractor, the Delivery Personnel may be required to fold some
newsletter to an appropriate size for letter boxes (to DL Size). In addition to that the Delivery
Personnel understands that the Contractor will fold a percentage of newsletters.
4.8 Delivery Personnel is required to return all undelivered newsletter if greater than 50 and the
Contractor is required to arrange a pick up for the same.
4.9 Delivery Personnel is required to contact the Contractor through 0448 320 713 in the event of
an emergency and in the event he or she is unable to deliver the allocated newsletters. In addition
to that the Delivery Personnel is required to report the emergency within a practicable and
reasonable timeline.
5. THIRD PARTIES
5.1 In the event the Delivery Personnel intends to bring in third parties such as family members
or any other person to offer their help, the Delivery Personnel will be fully responsible for their
compliance with these terms and conditions which include reflective vest and other personal
protective equipment.

5.2 Delivery Personnel acknowledges that Alfredton and Lucas Newsletter therefore holds no
responsibility or accountability for the participation of any third parties brought in by the
Delivery Personnel and discourages such actions.
6. CONFIDENTIALITY
Confidential information refers to any data or information relating to the Contractor and/or its
Clients, whether business or personal, which would reasonably be considered to be private or
proprietary to the Contractor and that, is where the release of that confidential information could
reasonably be expected to cause harm to the Contractor.
7. TIME OF THE ESSENCE
Time is of the essence in this Agreement. No extension or variation of this Agreement will
operate as a waiver of this provision.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF this agreement has been duly executed by the parties hereto the day
and year first herein before written.
