Graphic design is something that I would term as an art that has a purpose. It is
usually a creative and attractive visual way in which one can communicate ideas by the use of
symbols, images, and even words. Graphic design has been used by many companies to
increase their sales at face value. Coaches are people that greatly rely on graphic design to get
more clients that can boost their businesses. The following are ways in which graphic design
has dramatically impacted some coaches and their companies:
The graphic design breaks through social media jumble. Social media is among the
various platforms that a business can grow since this is a place where many people spend
their time. For one to be able to capture the attention of people in this platform that is so
junked up, visual aid of design is necessary. Standing out in social media with the use of
good design by a coach is key to growing the business.
90% of information that is transmitted to the brain is visual, and 40% of people
respond to visual information (Deanne, 2020).
Updates on Twitter that contain images attract 150% more retweets as compared to
those that are plain (Deanne, 2020).
When relevant images are added to blog content, the Pinterest traffic is increased by
62.5% (Deanne, 2020).
Graphic design is impactful in building a business brand and coping with competition.
A brand tells people what you are all about and the coaching deals that you have and the
significant reasons as to why your coaching services should be chosen over the others. The
correct graphic designs for your brand are compelling in generating traffic. The visual
elements that you should be clear with are the logo, website, brand color palette, and

fonts/topography. When done right, they act as the face of the service that you provide and
help in communicating.
In a case study about Irma Zimmerman, she mentioned that social media has allowed
her to build a strong relationship with customers and to create awareness of her brand
as well as growing it (Shelley, 2012).

that they saw it as opposed to only 10% if they exclusively heard it (John, n.d.).
Graphic design helps in winning potential customers. This is crucial for the offline
market. Use of marketing assets that are well designed like the business cards, brochures, and
flyers help to keep your business in the mind of potential customers even when you are not
around. The things that you need to consider while it is the contact information, brief and
concise details, and staying on the brand.

In conclusion, all I can say is graphic design is what you have been missing to make
your business a success and to generate traffic. The statistics above prove its credibility and a
tool for professionalism.
