Action learning is a process of which groups working on real problems taking action and learning to work as individuals as teams and as an organization. I watched two YouTube videos on the lectures of Reg Revans and Michael Marquardt. Both professors have different ways to describing what action learning is to their audience. Reg Revans is a bit more authoritativeand straight forward with his way of discussing action learning. He has a few facial expressions same tone throughout his lecture. It may seem boring and uninteresting to his audience to learn about the process however he is knowledgeable on the topic. Michael Marquardt is engaging and knowledgeable to his audience. He explain the concept better than Prof. Revans. He attracts them by his movements and real life examples that correlates to action learning. For example he explains the process of how babies learn action learning by asking questions from their parents and teachers. it helped me understand what action learning is for solving problems or getting resolutions for questions. it is a process that both professors touched on that we as individuals tend to lose our sense of action learning because we do not answer questions however we can build better teams leaders and solve complex problems only through action learning. If I were to recommend a video on action learning it would definitely be Prof. Marquardt’s lecture.
