Sammy is a worker, and he is also a sympathetic guy who feels bad when those who he
should be attending to are molested and harassed. In life, there are times when one needs to ask
himself or herself a lot of questions that pertain to the actions that he or she takes. These girls are
strangers to Sammy, and he does not know much about them, but he picks interest and desires to
know one of them more. However, when the owner of the shop comes and finds these girls
poorly dressed, she is not happy, and she tells them off.
Sammy feels terrible and in a moment decides to quit his job. To some extent he was
right but, I cannot say that this was the best decision that he would have made with regards to the
circumstances that unfolded at that time. Sammy had a job which was the source of his bread
and probably his family. However, he blindly decides to follow girls who he doesn’t know so
much about and wherever they were coming from. I would say that this was an impulsive
decision that was prompted by passion and this is not very right.
In life, there are times when I have also made impulsive decisions that have left me in a
total mess. There is a time when I left the house to go to the nearest town from my place of
residence. Then someone asked me for the direction to a forex bureau, and since that place was
quite far from the home we were, I had to take him there. Before we reached, I was surrounded

by a gang of five men who then demanded all that I had carried with me. I was seriously
astonished to realize that my act of kindness could be abused in this manner.
Like Sammy, I looked at the request from a shallow point of view in the sense that I
trusted that the person was honestly in need of my help. Like the ladies, this person played so
innocently that I could not detect any malice in the whole plan until it dawned on me that after
all, it was not what I was thinking about. The ladies for who Sammy sacrificed his job were out
of sight when he felt it was the right time to show up and speak out his heart. In like manner, I
could not trace the gentleman who asked for the direction.
Flashbacking this scene, I always regret having decided to show a stranger where he
wanted to go because of the loss I encountered. At the same time, I feel fulfilled because at least
I did my part and the problem lies with him because he decided to take my action for granted.
There are quite some people who face similar situations, and after that, they become so bitter
with everyone to the extent that they lose trust for people.
There are however a lot of lessons that I learned from this experience as much as it was
excruciating. I ended up losing my laptop and my lovely phone in the scene. But it is very
fortunate that they spared my body and my life such that they did not beat me up. From the stage,
I also learned that if the armed robbers attacked you, then the only way out if you don’t want to
get hurt is to play according to their rules as much as they command you to. I also learned to be
very cautious with people. Despite the regrets, I also learned a couple of lessons.
