Thanks to the Windows 10 operating system designed with numerous features, including system image recovery, backup and restore, system restore, file history, and other features. However, the Windows 10 storage spaces is the essential feature as it comprises software-configure RAID, a built-in feature. A Windows 10 storage space is a techno-feature that enhances data protection. The feature is similar to RAID, but it is deployed in software (Lavanya, 2019). To deploy Windows 10 storage spaces, users can put together three or more drives into a single logic pool, format the drive by either NTFS or ReFS method, and store copies of data needed on these drives to protect that data from failure.
