The reduction of medical errors in the healthcare industry is one of the priorities in the country. There is also a primary emphasis on the improvement of the patients’ safety in the organization. Gibson and Singh gave several statistics about how the errors committed were attributed medical errors. The IOM’s 1999 reported 100000 deaths per year caused by the errors in the medical field. The figures are shocking hence they give people a reason to work hard in their endeavors to improve the medical field. This paper is a reflection of my experiences of the problems that are faced in the medical field.
