Hi Stephanie, I agree with you on what you have written under the credential
manager. This has proven to be a handy tool for people who use Windows as their
operating system. (Infosec, n.d). Its usefulness has been brought about by the fact that
it is a user-friendly tool and is also popular. This tool has been of great help since the
users do not have to store their credentials, such as passwords in different locations.
They instead use this feature to keep their credentials in one place, which is easily
manageable. The feature also helps to store passwords for websites, usernames, and
addresses as well such that the user does not necessarily need to remember all the
passwords he or she has set whenever they have to log in to the different areas of
need. Storing such important information for users helps them to manage their data
better. It is also valid from what you have noted that security is a significant concern
when using this feature. This is because it can be easily hacked into by attackers who
would easily access one's information.

Hi Kelly, I agree with you on your discussion on Hyper V. It is true that Hyper V
is virtualization software that virtualizes both whole operating systems and hardware
components. These components include hard drives and network switches. It is also a
virtualization product from Microsft's hardware, which helps the user create and run a
computer's software version known as a virtual machine. It is also notable that Hyper
V is hypervisor-based virtualization technology. The hypervisor is used to manage the
interactions between the hardware components that it supports and other virtualization
machines such as the virtual machine. This product from Microsoft is beneficial to the

user. This is because each virtual machine has an operating system and programs. Due
to these features, the user saves a lot of time when using Hyper V instead of using
only one operating system on the standard physical hardware (Microsoft, 2016).

A LAN is a network used to interconnect devices limited to a home or otherwise
a small business. LAN settings can be managed to lessen the number of devices
connected by stating the IP address that the connected devices receive. (Cisco, 2020).
This is done by first logging into the web utility configuration and then choosing the
Router >Advanced >Lan setup option. Secondly, enter the IP address field of the
LAN of the SPA3102 on the local network. This is only applicable to the SPA3102
devices. Choose the subnet that corresponds to IP address that you wrote in the
second step using the LAN subnet mask drop-down list. Choose "yes" from the
DHCP drop-down list to enable dynamic host configuration. This will give each
device on the LAN the IP address that it requires. An alternative to this would be
choosing "no" from the same drop-down list, which is much easier since the devices
are statically given IP addresses. After doing this, one must click on the "save
settings" option to save the settings above.
