“West March” , is a Gaming company and/or corporation, is engaged in offering Table top
gaming services played over discord and for good and valuable consideration set forth herein,
makes available to you (“you” or “User”) proprietary content: games and other interactive and/or
entertainment content, accessible through various platforms, including, applications stores,
social networks, standalone web sites, downloadable client software, any respective updates
thereof. (collectively, our “Game”).
Section 1. Acceptance of terms and conditions
Acceptance of these Terms and Conditions of Use ("Terms") creates a binding agreement
between you and West March (the “Agreement”) and regulates the use of the Game, and other
services, such as forums and support systems (collectively, our “Services”).
By engaging in the Tabletop game through a web site or social network, or registering in our
addresses, you accept these Terms, which are incorporated herein by reference. Your
relationship with us will be subject to these and only these Terms and our Privacy Notice.
We reserve the right at any time to modify these Terms, and to impose new or additional terms
and conditions on your participation in our Game.
Section 2. Definitions and Roles
Apart from the player (s), the following personnel shall be a part of the decision making channel
in the Tabletop game: – WM: J.DM, WM: Judge & WM: H.DM. The said personnel have their
permissions directly following their title.
WM: J.DM Their permissions start from row number 25
and ends on row number 26
WM: JUDGE Their permissions start from row number 29
and ends on row number 40
WM: H.DM Their permissions start from row number 43
and ends on row number 53
The following terms are to be interpreted to mean as follows whenever one encounters them
“Junior DM” – Refers to any member of ‘The Tavern’ server that possesses the tag “WM: J.
“Judge” – Refers to any member of ‘The Tavern’ server that possesses the tag “WM: JUDGE”.
“Head DM” – Refers to any member of ‘The Tavern’ server that possesses the tag “WM: H.
“Ruling” – Refers to a potential new rule or guideline that must be voted on by the Judges
and/or the Head DM.
“Screenshot” – Refers to a digital piece of a screen that contains an unaltered and
unobstructed image of what was on.
“Continent” – Refers to the fictional land that is owned and created by a specific DM.
“Quarry” – Refers to when one individual presents clear evidence of hatred, malice, contempt
“Favoritism” – Refers to when one individual presents clear evidence of affection, preference
and/or preference towards another individual.
“Neutral Vote” – Placing a neutral vote exempts a judge from being counted towards the
number of judges available.
“Vote” – An ability to each judge possesses that they may use once per ruling in order to
declare their opinion of the ruling.
“WM” – These two letters refer to the group “West March”, the fictional setting which all
WM: J. DM
Has mandate and supreme authority over their own continent.
Has supreme authority over their own continent and further requires over 50% of the judges to
overrule his/her decisions.
He/she may overrule a Junior DMs authority over their own continent, unless opposed by one
He/she may interpret rules that all continents follow by, provided they are not opposed by
another judge or the Head.
If all active judges vote in favor, they may replace the Head DM with one of the Judges. Only
those who have three (3) months may be chosen as the new Head DM, with the old DM
becoming a Judge.
Any Judges that prove (or can be proven to …….) have a quarry or particular favoritism toward
the DM cannot participate in the vote.
There must always be three (3) active Judges at all times, if there is less than three (3) active
Judges at any moment, the remaining Judges must unanimously vote on who among the Junior
DMs will be promoted to a Judge.
WM: H. DM
Authority and first say over any new rulings the Head DM proposes requires over 75% of the
Judges to counter it.
Can demote a Judge to a Junior DM or promote a Junior DM to a Judge unless opposed by at
least 50% of the Judges remaining Judges.
The Head DM possesses one veto they may use once per week, they regain the use of this veto
at 12:01 AM UTC + 0 each Sunday.
This veto may be used to remove a ruling from voting provided the Head DM is proven to not be
acting out of spite.
Any ruling that is at least 90% similar to the vetoed ruling cannot be submitted as ruling until the
veto is overturned by the Head DM or a full fourteen (14) days pass since the veto was used for
that specific ruling .
A veto is considered forfeit unless a screenshot of the vetoed ruling with a clear time stamp is
provided with the use of the veto. The screenshot must be available if needed for the purpose of
the rulings posted by Judges, the Head DMs vote counts as two (2) votes, any other votes they
make are considered one (1).
WM GENERAL RULINGS
NB:- Altering any ruling in here requires all Judges to vote for it along with the Head Judge.
A Judge that is not considered active is considered to have place a neutral vote on any votes
until they actively change it.
A Judge is considered active by being present and active in either a voice or text channel within
“the tavern server” with no more than three (3) days between provable server activity.
Any ruling made either by the Head DM or the Judges will require sixteen (16) hours after the
final vote to become final.
A time stamp must be included at the very end of the message containing the proposed ruling, if
it realized and active, it is immediately considered forfeit unless a screenshot of its unedited
version is provided.
Any permission the Judges have may only be altered or added to if the Head DM and the
majority of the Judges vote in favor.
Any DM (including the Judges and the Head DM) that is considered to be personally involved in
a ruling are automatically considered to have a neutral vote for that ruling, however they may
still propose rulings of such nature.
This also extends to those whose WM character would actively benefit or suffer from the ruling.
Any ruling is immediately forfeit if the number of DMs allowed to vote on it less than two (2).
Section 3. Acceptable use policy
You may not submit content that is (i) offensive, unlawful, obscene, defamatory, libelous,
threatening, abusive, inappropriate, pornographic, harassing, hateful, or otherwise unlawful or
violates any law; (ii) fraudulent or misrepresentative; (iii) protected by any applicable copyright
laws, trade secret or that otherwise infringe the privacy rights, property rights, or any other rights
of any person; (iv) an advertisement or solicitation of business, funds, products or services; or
(v) impersonating another person or invading the privacy of any third party. We reserve the right
(but shall have no obligation) to decide whether any West March that you use complies with
these Terms and we may in our sole discretion remove such West March, suspend and/or
terminate Agreement with the User in question.
Gaming policy. You agree that your use of the Services should be lawful and that you will
comply with the usage rules.
Section 4. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law: the services are provided “as is” and used at your
sole risk with no warranties whatsoever. West March will provide the services with reasonable
care and skill, but does not make any other promises or warranties about the services and in
particular does not warrant, claim or represent and expressly disclaims all such warranties of
any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, with respect to the services, including, without
limitation, warranties or conditions of quality, performance, non-infringement, merchantability, or
fitness for a particular purpose. West March further does not represent or warrant that the
services will always be available, accessible, uninterrupted, timely, secure, accurate, complete
and error-free or will operate without packet loss.
