The requirements are supposed to follow policies and procedures that have been put in place
by the company. The policies and procedures that have been put in place by the government
include the Supplier Code of Conduct, the Supplier Status and Conduct, the quality standards,
the general policies and business processes and procedures. The packing and shipping
requirements that the suppliers should meet include: the operational requirements, the
transport and shipping requirements, the general requirements of shipping documentation and
the customs and import clearance. The other aspects of the packing and shipping
requirements that should be met by the suppliers include carrier and shipping modes, delivery
appointments such as the supplier managed freight and the supplier performance that includes
the packing and shipping requirements. The supplier, therefore, has to meet the requirements
that have been put in place by the company ("Supplier guidance," 2020).
