Thesis statement

Judge Brett Kavanaugh was recently appointed by President Donald Trump as the Associate
judge of the supreme court of the United States of America. His appointment created ripples all
through the country because a number of people saw him as a person who could solve the
judicial issues of the United States of America and others were just skeptical about him. The
people in the country knew about the appointment and it is important to analyze how they came
to know about it. How people get to know about an issue determines the attitude that they will
have towards it. Most people knew about it from the mainstream media.
Questions
The thesis shows how I understand the way people came to know about the appointment of
Judge Brett Kavanaugh and how they perceived it. It also gives a snippet of what the final paper
is going to talk about hence giving the direction of the paper. The thesis cannot be disputed
because it contains the truth of the matter about the appointment of Judge Brett Kavanaugh and
the reaction of the Americans. The topic of the thesis statement is the appointment of Judge Brett
Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, the reaction of the people and his stand on fundamental issues
in the country. The comment is that some people were elated while the others were skeptical
about it and he had a tough stand over the fundamental issues. The topic interests me because I
am always interested in the legal issues. The thesis is specific and manageable because it talks
about a specific judge the United States of America, his appointment into the Supreme Court and
the stand he has on the fundamental issues. The information on the topic is easily available hence
the search for the thesis will be much easier. Therefore there are no difficulties that are
associated with searching the topic. The thesis statement informs the readers how we know about
what we know because it gives information on how the people in the country learnt about the
appointment and the reactions that they took.
